Recently, LeBron James‘ Lakers acquired a few players ahead of the NBA trade deadline, including the ex-boyfriend of Larsa Pippen, Malik Beasley. The Lakers acquired him and other notable players in a three-team trade deal involving the Utah Jazz and the Minnesota Timberwolves. However, as Beasley had a short relationship with Larsa, an NFL legend stated that Scotty Pippen Jr. should look to request a trade out of LA. Meanwhile, as soon as he made the comments, fans reacted to it on social media.
The NFL legend is none other than Shannon Sharpe. Beasley joining the purple and gold franchise was seemingly disliked by the former Denver Broncos tight end due to his previous relationship with Scotty Pippen Jr.’s mother, Larsa Pippen.

In a recent episode of ‘Skip and Shannon: Undisputed’, Sharpe suggested that Pippen Jr. should leave the Los Angeles Lakers so that he doesn’t have to play with his mother’s ex-boyfriend. During the show, Sharpe said, “If I’m Scotty Pippen Jr., I want a trade. Malik Beasley coming to my team I got to go. I’ma fight it.”
The relationship between the 27-year-old guard and the 49-year-old TV personality was a hot topic back in 2020. However, their relationship didn’t last long and soon they parted ways. However, even if they don’t have any relationship anymore, Beasley playing with his ex-girlfriend’s son would certainly be a bit awkward for all involved.

Meanwhile, shortly after Sharpe made his comments fans quickly rushed in and flooded the comments section with their own opinions. NBA fans gave seemingly mixed reactions. Some of the fans felt bad for Pippen Jr.’s current situation while others wondered whether he could ask for a trade.
