A man's been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a woman in Northampton.
Police and ambulance were called to an address in Whernside Way, Duston, Northampton, shortly after 2am this morning.
On arrival, the body of a 57 year-old woman was found at the property.
A 32 year-old local man was arrested near the scene and is currently in police custody.
Officers from the East Midlands Special Operations Unit have launched a murder enquiry, but say they not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
