Pete Davidson may be taking steps to match girlfriend Kim Kardashian's Instagram aesthetic. As we know, her grid is very important to her.

On 27 May, Pete was photographed outside of a Los Angeles studio where his girlfriend was conducting a photo shoot for her SKIMS shapewear line. In the photos, Kim can be seen wearing a nude two-piece set and matching sunglasses with her white-blonde hair on full display. Pete, on the other hand, appears to be mid or immediately post-dye-job with a shower cap over his own freshly bleached hair. (You can see the photos of Davidson here.)

Wearing Marilyn Monroe's actual “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” dress, Kim Kardashian debuted her “milky blonde” hair at the 2022 Met Gala in an attempt to further channel the late Hollywood icon. “I did want a physical change,” she told Vogue of the process, which took 14 hours to achieve.

“This shade takes inspiration from platinum blonde but has a more expensive and luxe finish, being achieved by highlighting and lowlighting techniques instead of one allover color,” explains Dylan Brittain, artistic director at Rainbow Room International. "One of the best things about this hair color is that it’s not too warm or too cool in tone, meaning it works for everyone, no matter what your skin tone. The color also looks incredible when paired with a mid-length blunt cut and textured waves for a super-trendy finish for the season and to further enhance the color and the movement it creates within your hair.”

Of course, this drastic change requires a lot of maintenance, in and out of the salon. “This hair color trend looks incredibly expensive and costly,” says Brittain. “It requires monthly or bi-monthly trips to the salon due to the root regrowth and to keep the color looking as fresh as possible.”

Somehow, we think Pete and Kim can afford it.
