Let's face it, every day seems like a party for fun-loving Rihanna but the controversial Bajian beauty turns another year older today.

The singer is continuing her celebrations, which started two days ago, in the extravagant manner we have come to expect from the party loving star, staying with a group of friends in a seriously pimped out cabin – complete with its own private bowling alley.

On Wednesday the Diamonds singer shared a photo of herself in Aspen, Colorado not only with an eye-catching fur-lined electric-purple ski ensemble on, but also with a cigarette in her hand and two cocktails behind her.

The Grammy winner rocked a pixie hair cut for her March 2014 Vogue cover- her third for the fashion bible

The day before, the Barbados girl shared a cheeky photo of her backside while standing in her cabin in front of a sign that read Welcome To Aspen.

Packed with her trademark level of shock value the photo showed her in her underpants and thigh high socks which highlighted her well sculpted derriere.

She already seems to have be partying fairly hard in the run up to today, sharing images of shot glasses, rounds of drinks, and what appear to be the scores of a drinking game, with the rather raunchy team names 'Thunder P****' and 'Deez Nuts'.

As the party no doubt kicks up a gear in Aspen, Femail celebrates Rihanna’s big day by rounding up 26 photos of the hit maker from her nine years in the spot light.

As if she doesn’t already have enough strings to her bow, Rihanna has now made overtures towards starting her own fashion line.

Speaking to Vogue as she graces her third cover for the fashion bible, the pop phenomenon says that she attributes much of her success to her style, rather than her records.

‘It's not all down to my voice,’ she said, telling interviewer socialite Plum Sykes that she wants to start her own label.

‘There's people with way more talent than I when it comes to singing; bigger voices. But people want to know who you are. Fashion is a clear indication, a way to express your attitude, your mood.’

Having already turned her hand to designing with collaborative collections with Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans in 2011 and four sell out campaigns with high street chain River Island, it seems the birthday girl, who turns 26 today, has been inspired to go it alone.

A fashion muse for such industry giants as Tom Ford and Alexander Wang, Rihanna is renowned for her unique, often risqué and fearless looks.

Although she gives no indication in the interview of the type of vision she has for her future line, it will likely be highly influenced by her own sense of sexual liberation and outlandish interpretations of trends.
