She may be the designer and not the model, but Gwen Stefani certainly looks good in the merchandise.

On Tuesday, the 44-year-old mother-of-three, shared a selfie wearing an item from her new underwear range.

The top is from her label L.A.M.B, partnered with Hanky Panky underwear, and is part of a collection of patterned intimates.

The post comes after it was revealed that Gwen is planning a triumphant return to New York Fashion Week following a three-year hiatus that she attributes to taking time to care for her children.

The singer’s L.A.M.B. label, which had shown at fashion week from 2005 to 2011, has been notably omitted from the schedule because the event ‘falls when my kids go back to school,’ she told ELLE.com.

The mother-of-three added sarcastically: ‘I was like “Oh, I guess I will go to New York Fashion Week and miss my kid’s first day of kindergarten,” No.’

But now that eight-year-old son Kingston and five-year-old son Zuma’s first day of school has been rescheduled, Ms Stefani is planning ‘to do some sort of presentation or show this September.’

She added that she is relieved that the varying schedules means ‘I can be in both places.’

The show would be just the latest achievement Ms Stefani has to be grateful for. She and husband of twelve years Gavin Rossdale welcomed their third son Apollo on February 28.

On September 22, she will make her premiere as a mentor on The Voice alongside staples Adam Levine and Blake Shelton as well as fellow newbie (and former music collaborator) Pharrell Williams.

She says of her experience on the show, which is currently taping auditions: ‘I am hearing a 15-year-old boy who had all these hits on YouTube saying that’s how he became famous—that’s not what we did. We asked our dad for $5, rented a mic and went to the garage.

‘You can be nobody but become someone thanks to the Internet. I think that’s exciting.’

Ms Stefani debuted her full L.A.M.B. collection in 2004, following a brief collaboration with LeSportsac. It includes a full offering of apparel, accessories and fragrances.

The brand, known for its graphic prints and Anglomania-meets-Japanophile styling, was quickly snapped up by department stores including Nordstrom and Bloomingdales.
